I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Spanish Literature at the University of Arizona. I am originally from Mexico, but I have been living in the United States for eleven years. I am willing to tutor any student/adult who is interested in learning any level of Spanish. I am sure I can help understand elementary patterns of Spanish grammar, oral skills, and general cultural differences between American and Latino society.
As a Spanish Graduate Assistant in charge of my own class, I have confirmed my calling to teach and mentor students. Contact with students has convinced me that research must be taught in order to culturally and socially inform people. Since I am fascinated by Hispanic literature, poetry, and teaching, I want to teach students how to embrace the multicultural environment of the United States.
I am a qualified teacher with many years of experience who has taught and tutored college students in Hawaii and Arizona.
My methodology is wide-ranging but mostly will depend on your needs. My goal is to make the lessons fun and as easy as possible for you. I love teaching and if you love what you do, you do it great!
