Hello! My teaching speciality is math and science, and I truly believe that anyone can learn these subjects when they're presented in an interesting way. I am very nearly finished with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree at the University of Kansas. I am currently employed as a research assistant in a computational chemistry group where I'm working towards going to graduate school.

I'm currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I'm most familiar with high school math, history, and English as well as SAT and ACT prep. In my experience tutoring I've found that students respond best to a careful walktrough of the key points in a problem, followed by an opportunity to come up with the answer a similar question on their own.

I am currently attending the University of Central Missouri to receive my Alternative Certification and Master of Arts in Teaching degrees in Middle School Mathematics. On top of academic exposure to an array of math classes, I tutored many peers while in high school. My name is Grace Apodaca and I am a student at Smith College in Northampton, MA. I am an engineering major who is passionate about research.
