As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in History from Western Carolina University, I am dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of AP US History and AP World History among my students. With over 2 years of tutoring and classroom experience, I focus on creating engaging learning environments that encourage critical thinking and connection to historical events. My teaching philosophy centers on making history relevant and relatable, helping students to draw parallels between the past and present. I find joy in guiding students through their academic journeys, celebrating their successes, and nurturing their curiosity about the world. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring historical sites and reading historical fiction, which further enriches my teaching.
