I am an undergraduate student at Wofford College pursuing a major in biology with a minor in business. In addition, I am a nationally certified and state certified Emergency Medical Technician and work sporadically throughout the year. I have three years of experience tutoring students in a wide array of subject areas. I have a true passion for learning and I am extremely excited to share that passion with the students I have the privilege to help succeed.

I am currently a student at NC State University working towards a B.S. in physics with minors in computer science and mathematics. I'm looking to tutor in high school and college-level math courses, standardized test prep, and physics. I have some unofficial tutoring experience at the high school level. I'm excited to start tutoring because I really do enjoy helping people and watching them grow. I think it's super cool to see someone gain confidence in their abilities and improve. Though my focus in school is on Psych, Ive chosen Reading and English as my tutoring subjects because ever since I read my first book as a child I've had a passion for both. I love reading new stories and learning new things and I treasure having the ability to comprehend and be able to help others comprehend underlying themes and messages that are being relayed throughout different texts. I believe that as long as you have the right strategies, reading comprehension can become a tool in anyones belt. There is a lesson in every text and that is a concept I will strive to be able to pass along to all my students. I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Applied Statistics at University of California at Berkeley. Prior to that, I studied Statistics and Analytics at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with the Highest Distinction. Throughout my academic journey, I have dedicated myself to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for learning with others. This journey began as an undergraduate learning assistant, where I supported my peers in Calculus I and Econ 101, nurturing a passion for teaching that has only grown stronger over time. Since then, the subjects I tutor have spanned from mathematics and statistics to Python programming.
