I am an award-winning author and poet. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I have served as a writer in residence and visiting professor at various colleges and universities. I currently teach writing throughout various organizations. I enjoy helping my students discover their voice, learn about various literary methods, and tell their stories. I'm also pursuing a PhD in English.
