Hi! I'm Catherine, a rising senior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Mathematics and Economics. I have been tutoring high school and college students for over seven years, specializing in high school math, including geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus, as well as English grammar.

I have extensive experience working with students with learning differences, including ADHD and ADD, and I tailor my approach to meet each student's unique needs. One of my favorite parts of tutoring is guiding students through challenges and helping them reach that "aha!" moment when everything clicks. I love breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and watching their confidence grow.

Outside of academics, you can usually find me golfing, baking, or exploring Nashville with my roommates.

Hobbies

I have always been an avid baker. When I was in high school, I even launched my own baking and catering business! Aside from being in the kitchen, I love to travel. I studied in Madrid, Spain for a semester where I visited 13 different countries and countless new cities. I did everything from eat at the oldest restaurant in the world, ride camels in the Sahara desert, and para-glide in Switzerland. Lastly, I have always loved golfing. While I am still working on perfecting my game, I enjoy escaping to the course every weekend with friends or family.
