As a junior at Butler University, majoring in Special Education, I am dedicated to becoming a skilled tutor specializing in elementary school reading, math, phonics, and Spanish. My classroom experience, including roles as a substitute teacher and summer tutor, has allowed me to work with students from preschool through high school, igniting my passion for literacy and the science of reading. I believe in individualized instruction that adapts to each student's unique needs, fostering a supportive environment where they feel valued and supported. My teaching philosophy centers on building strong relationships with learners, as I find that understanding who they are outside the classroom enhances their academic growth. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy sports and staying active, believing that learning should be engaging and empowering for all students.
