As a passionate educator with a Ph.D. from the Center for Research and Higher Education in Anthropology in Mexico and a MA degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, I have over 18 years of tutoring and teaching experience at the college level. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and have training in teaching second languages, including English. I am familiar with accents and slang from a variety of Latin American countries as well as Spain and Portugal and I can help you learn the cultural norms that accompany speaking in a new language and culture.
