I'm passionate about helping people gain confidence in their voice and their ideaswhether that's through writing, public speaking, or creative expression. I bring over five years of experience in nonprofit communications and education, where I've worked across cultural, academic, and publishing spaces to connect people with meaningful, memorable experiences.
My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and an Advanced Certificate in Integrated & Social Media from SUNY Oswego, where I was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. I also hold a dual undergraduate degree: a B.S. in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology, and a B.A. in Music Performance. These interdisciplinary experiences allow me to approach different challenges with creativity, adaptability, and a holistic perspective.
In academia, I teach university-level courses in public relations and communication strategy, guiding students through media literacy, message design, and real-world campaigns. I also support academic publishing, helping scholars share their research with clarity and impact. These roles reflect my commitment to building bridges between knowledge and action.
I tutor subjects in communication, writing, media studies, and test prep. I especially enjoy working on writing and strategy, as these subjects empower individuals to organize their thinking and express themselves effectively. My work style is adaptive, collaborative, and industry-centeredI believe in meeting people's needs and helping them build skills step by step.
Outside of tutoring, I'm a musician, lifelong learner, and advocate for inclusive education. My overall teaching philosophy is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where students can take risks, ask questions, and feel empowered in their learning journey.
