I am passionate about helping students because I am in the same position! As someone who has gone through intense tutoring my whole life, I am able to tailor my personal experiences being the learner to the teacher and make the pursuit of knowledge as engaging and fun as possible.

I have extensive tutoring and teaching experience. I started tutoring at 14 years old and therefore have more than 7 years of experience in this field. I have taught students from 5 to 21 years old, offering knowledge in a variety of fields, from Common Core Regents exams in the maths, sciences, and ELA, as well as SAT tutoring (my favorite!), and general K-5.

I studied at NYC Lab Middle School (M412), Brooklyn Technical High School, and am now at the University of Virginia (anticipating last semester) studying Applied Statistics (Business/Finance).

I like to tutor SAT because I like working with students close to my age and giving them advice in a domain that I am very familiar with. I personally prepped for 2+ years, and obtained a 1530 on the exam myself (perfect 800 math, 730 English/writing).

My teaching philosophy is to understand that every student's needs is different. Being an adaptable person, I can easily get along with anyone and offer the best help I am able to provide!

I love to ski and go to art museums. I also really enjoy traveling, especially to LATAM. Did I mention that I am fluent in Spanish? I can also speak Mandarin at an intermediate level.
