As a third-year Electrical Engineering student at Queen's University, I bring both technical expertise and a strong passion for teaching to every tutoring session. I specialize in tutoring math and physics for students from elementary through high school, with a focus on helping students build confidence, develop strong problem-solving skills, and gain lasting understanding, not just short-term memorization.

My experience includes leading STEM programs and working with students in both one-on-one and group settings. I understand that every learner is unique, so I tailor my approach to each student's needs using clear explanations, relatable examples, and strategies that encourage active engagement.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing the moment when a concept clicks. That breakthrough can transform a student's mindset from "I can't do this" to "I've got this." My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and goal-oriented. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to tackle challenges head-on.

Undergraduate Degree: Queens University of Charlotte - Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering

Hobbies

Outside of academics, I enjoy building circuits, designing engineering projects, and getting involved in STEM outreach. I am currently part of the Queen’s Aerospace Design Team, where I work on the Electrical Team to help design and integrate electronics for aerospace systems. I also love staying active—whether it’s playing soccer with friends, hiking new trails, or spending time camping outdoors. I’ve spent most of my summers leading canoeing and camping trips, which has helped me build strong leadership and communication skills in outdoor, team-based environments. These interests fuel my creativity and curiosity—qualities I bring into my sessions to make learning dynamic and engaging.
