As a dedicated and experienced tutor, I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioscience at The Rockefeller University and hold a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Maine. My tutoring experience includes working with middle school students in subjects like math, history, science, and English, providing both online and in-person support. I have also tutored university students in general and organic chemistry, focusing on understanding course material and developing effective study and test-taking strategies. Additionally, I have experience as a teacher's assistant in a third-grade math class and have mentored students through programs like RockEDU Jumpstart. Biology is where most of my knowledge lies, but am familiar with topics in math, physics, and chemistry. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students can build confidence and excel.
