I have been a middle and high school Art teacher for over 20 years. I love working one on one with a student, helping them to achieve their best work. I am proficient in MANY media, with a background in studio art. I graduated from Western Illinois University with a BFA in sculpture and ceramics, but have extensive drawing knowledge. During COVID I learned how to use online tools to effectively teach art over the internet. With a motivated student, I can get some amazing results!

I am a lover of nature, incorporating it into my own art practice whenever I can. I love to do and learn ALL the things! My current excursion is into fibers with processing, spinning and crocheting. I have a small pottery business, and adore making things for people to cherish in their everyday lives. I also love to garden and walk through nature, appreciating the beauty and peacefulness around me.
