I completed my undergraduate studies at UNIVA Guadalajara, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Arts in Teaching and Management of English and a Master Degree in education, which has deepened my passion for English and Spanish tutoring. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in both English and Spanish subjects, as well as a clear understanding of how learning occurs at various levels.
In addition to my formal education, I have several years of tutoring experience. I've had the opportunity to assist students of varying ages, from elementary school to college. This has given me the ability to adapt my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student, creating an environment where they feel comfortable and motivated to learn.
The subjects I tutor most often are English as a second language. I enjoy helping students overcome challenges in this area and gain confidence. There's something incredibly rewarding about watching a student go from feeling overwhelmed to achieving clarity and success.
My tutoring style is student-centered and collaborative. I believe that learning is most effective when students are actively engaged, and I work to create an interactive, open space where they can ask questions without fear of judgment. Outside of academics, I am passionate about CrossFit training and running, I am also part of a morning show in the Texas Valley. These activities help me unwind, and I've often found that sharing personal experiences with students can strengthen the connection and foster mutual respect. Whether it's discussing a book, a sport, or a shared hobby, I find that forming these connections enhances the tutoring relationship and creates a comfortable, trusting space for students to thrive.
