I am a graduate of Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW). I have received my Associate's degree and am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Florida State University. During my last year at FSW, I worked as a peer tutor, helping my classmates through coursework I had already completed. I tutor many introductory math and science courses and am most passionate about tutoring chemistry and algebra. My philosophy while tutoring is to help a student understand by bridging the gap between what they currently understand and what they need to. From my experience, when someone understands what and why they are doing something, they can repeat their performance later on. In introductory classes, recalling the information they learned is crucial.
