I received an MBA from Wake Forest University and passed the CPA exam. In high school, my history teacher helped me improve my grades from "C's" & "D's" to honor roll. Mr. Miller spent a lot of time with me showing me the love of learning. Then while my kids were small I had the opportunity to teach math, computer and accounting in a private school for 8 years. I enjoyed interacting with students and watching them learn. Teaching requires a lot of preparation, but the rewards are immense. It is satisfying to connect with students as they grasp concepts. I enjoy watching students gain confidence in themselves exceling in school. I believe education is important opening many doors of opportunity.
