I am passionate about Early Childhood Education and helping all students reach their potential. I have worked with children in grades Pre-K through Grade 4 but my personal strength is in working with ages 3-8. I am a certified teacher and have degrees in Early Childhood Education and English. I have specialized training in several areas: Math Their Way, Learning Without Tears, Kidding Around Yoga, RI Early Learning Standards, and Deep Play for Kids. I believe that each child has individual interests, strengths and challenges. Making a connection with the child and building on their strengths is the key to successful teaching and learning.
