Throughout my career which spanned over 16 years, I have served as a Project Manager on numerous construction projects, including the construction of several educational institutions, office complexes, water supply projects, and hospital infrastructures. In my role as Project Manager, I have been responsible for overseeing every aspect of the project from the planning and design phases to procurement and construction, all while ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
In addition to my experience in project management, I have a strong background in Quantity Surveying, which has allowed me to develop an extensive knowledge of project estimating, bill of quantities preparation, and cost control. I am adept at using advanced software such as Planswift for Quantity Surveying purposes. I am also proficient in the use of AutoCAD for producing high-quality designs for various construction projects.
My experience in construction has provided me with an in-depth understanding of HSE building regulations and legal guidelines, which is essential for ensuring that all construction projects are in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. As a result, I have been able to maintain a high level of safety on all of my construction projects, which has been recognized by various stakeholders.
I have taught at programs and seminars within organizations I worked with on topics related to construction management and quantity surveying. During my bachelor's and master's degree programs, I availed myself to tutor colleagues who had difficulty with their academic work.
I desire to deliver my lessons in a way that will impact my generation.
