A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education) and the University of Central Florida (Master of Education in Educational Leadership), I bring over twenty years of public classroom teaching experience to my tutoring position with Varsity Tutors. In addition, I have also been a curriculum supervisor for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, Florida, as well as the Huron County coordinator for the Ohio Department of Higher Education's adult education program, Aspire. In that capacity, I designed curriculum for and taught adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED) preparation classes. I have a heart to serve and remain passionate about sharing my gift of teaching. That's why, even though I'm now retired from public education, that I continue to pursue opportunities to serve others as they seek to grow through their own educational pursuits.
