I am pursuing a Dual Licensure degree in Special Education and Elementary Education at The University of Texas at El Paso, complemented by over 4 years of experience as an instructional aide in the Socorro Independent School District. My heart lies in teaching young learners, particularly in reading and language arts, as I engage students from kindergarten through fifth grade. I excel at connecting with my students, understanding their individual strengths and challenges, and implementing hands-on activities that make learning both enjoyable and impactful. My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a supportive environment where I motivate students to embrace their curiosity and develop a love for learning. I am eager to create my own classroom in the next two years, where I can continue to inspire and nurture the minds of my students, just as I have in my current role.
