I am a graduate of The University of Strathclyde in Scotland .The university has an interesting history and is ranked 302 nd in the world rankings of universities.I graduated with a B.A. in Community Education with a specialization in Adult Education.I tutor all age groups .I currently tutor children in literacy and love to teach my emergent readers course. I can tailor any course to meet the individual students needs and am a passionate lifelong teacher and learner.I also currently tutor adults looking for either conversational/business or TOEFL learning.I believe you learn all your life and love to help students reach their goals.My philosophy is to create supportive /interactive classes where students gain confidence in their abilities as learners as well as their subject . I like to demonstrate results where students or their guardians/parents can see real progress. I am a patient teacher believing every learner has potential.We might not all learn the same way but we are all capable of fulfilling our potential.I have tools to help the student identify their preferred learning methods.
In my spare time I like to read meet friends and enjoy the theater and concerts.I love all kinds of music and like walking with my dog teddy in the parks where I live.
