I'm currently a third-year Computer Engineering major with a Mathematics minor at the Washkewicz College of Engineering at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
While I do not have any professional tutoring experience prior to joining Varsity Tutors, I have assisted my father (who is a High School Math Teacher) with tutoring and instructing some of his students. The different subject areas where I assisted with tutoring include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus 1. I do have a lot of experience working with younger children, as I used to volunteer as a group leader at a local church for a variety of different summer camps; some of these summer camps include theatre camps, basketball camps, soccer camps, as well as art camps.
Moreover, I am passionate about helping students because I know how difficult and stressful education can be, along with the constant pressure that students feel when it comes to academics. However, I'd like to show students that if they work hard and believe in themselves, they can build extremely successful lives and futures.
The different areas of Math that I can tutor in are Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Statistics, Differential Equations, and Physics 1. Math has always been my best and favorite subject and I'm very thrilled and grateful to have the opportunity to tutor other individuals in this subject area. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to the gym, and watching NBA Basketball.
