About Me

I am a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, having received my Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences. My coursework was focused mainly in chemistry, which I earned a minor in, and was supplemented with a certificate in German Language. My primary focus is teaching Organic Chemistry. I have been a teaching assistant in both laboratory and lecture-based Organic Chemistry courses, assisted in organic synthesis research, and am very passionate about making this notoriously difficult subject easier to understand for new students. My teaching philosophy is to build a strong foundation of fundamental chemistry principles, and combine those principles to reach practical solutions to complex problems.
