I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a B.A. in History and M.A.T. in Secondary Education. I have taught all Social Studies content including APUSH, AP European History, AP World History, US History, Government/Economics, Psychology and Global Studies. My favorite subjects are World and European History because I love to travel and those subjects were my focus in college. That being said, I have taught US History for most of my teaching career. I believe in allowing students to discover knowledge for themselves. I believe in a student centered environment where students use the tools provided by their instructor to develop understanding. I am a fan of most sports and currently coach soccer. I like to travel, attend concerts and I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs.
