I graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Neuroscience & Behavior. I also obtained a Masters in Teaching with a focus on middle school math from Relay Graduate School of Education. I now look to pursue a PhD in sociology in the upcoming year.
I have worked five years in education, three of which I spent teaching middle school math. Math and Science are my favorite subjects. I believe it is important to understand the ways in which our world works, and these subjects provide a good foundation for building necessary critical-thinking skills in kids.
I consider myself a coffee enthusiast. So, in my spare time I love to explore new coffee shops. Aside from that I love to dance, go on hikes, and spend time with cats. I believe it is important to have a healthy life outside of education, hence my hobbies.
