I am an Undergraduate student currently undergoing a Bachelors (BA) Specialization in Psychology and I am very passionate about helping students for a myriad of reasons but primarily because I know that school and education can seem very challenging and intimidating to some students. However, I want to show that it does not need to be so scary and in fact can be a lot of fun to learn a new topic. Personally, the most enjoyable academic accomplishments were those that were initially a challenge, but once I started understanding them, they became a lot of fun. For me that subject is statistics.

With regards to academic subjects, I am new to working with students but I have worked with kids and teenagers in the past and continue to do so as a sports counsellor at camp and was formerly a skating instructor for kids as young as three years of age. These experiences have given me the opportunity to see what type of communication and strategies work with different individuals of different ages.

My highest degree of education that I have obtained was my DEC in social sciences. The subjects I tutor are math, statistics, social science, and psychology.

As I stated before, statistics was initially a struggle for me which is what amplified my feelings of accomplishment when I began to understand the topic better which is why it is one of my favorite subjects to tutor along with psychology as it is the field I am currently studying.

Outside of academia I am very interested in hockey. I love sports such as hiking and skating.
