My name is Charina. This past spring I just received my Masters Degree in Bilingual Special Education. I also have a Bachelors Degree from Hunter College, where I majored in Education and minored in English. I have a passion for reading and writing. I find the most beautiful things in reading and love to explore different ways of writing. I previously worked as 2nd grade bilingual teacher in New York City. I am passionate about having students learn how to read and apply different reading strategies in all content areas. I also love to teach writing and supporting my students in exploring and discovering their writing talents. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling and writing.
