I completed Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of London, Uk, and taught in a Grammar School thereafter. I hold a Postgraduate degree in Physics and a bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
I have more than 10 years experience of teaching higher and middle-level Physics and Science. My students have been able to achieve great results not only in examinations but also in National level competitions.
I am passionate about the subject and I believe that it is one of the most interesting and easy-to-understand areas of Science. One only needs to be creative to use logic, knowledge, and practice problem solving to master the concepts. Each concept is highly interesting. During one of my teaching assignments, I learned to improvise science experiments and activities to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts. Due to my passion and deep interest in the subject, I was entrusted with the responsibility of heading the Science Center at the school.
Through my tutoring and teaching experience in various schools over the years and studying PGCE, I have come to believe that as a teacher one should keep abreast with the changing demands of society and their impact on young people. A teacher will only be effective if he/she takes the time to know his/her students' background, possible emotional needs, their likes and dislikes and thoroughly plans their strategy to be effective.
Passion for education and faith in the ability of pupils are the only requirements to convert an ordinary teacher and a learner into a great one.
