I have a total of 31 years of teaching experience: 20 years in high school math ranging from pre-algebra to pre-calculus, both in English and Spanish; and 11 years in World Language, mostly French, a little Spanish. I earned my B.A. in French Language and Literature and my teaching certificate from the University of Washington. I also earned endorsements in Spanish and math. Later, I earned a Masters in Education from Washington State University. I am most comfortable tutoring French, Spanish and math up to Algebra 2, but may consider other subjects upon request. The highlight of my career was receiving the National Science Foundation's Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching from President Clinton in 1996-97.
