I am a third year international relations and Spanish major in university, and I am looking forward to tutoring students who are interested in growing their skills in the fields I am teaching. I am currently living in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I typically teach courses on English, Spanish, and social studies. I am particularly fond of working with students learning Spanish or English as their second language, as I have had previous experience tutoring foreign language and have gone through various language courses myself including lessons in Spanish and Macedonian. I personally love learning foreign languages as the skills developed aid in understanding a whole new cultural context. I also find it important to note that learning a new language (and learning in general) should be a personal process; not every one person benefits from the same learning methods as the next. I hope to make learning more personalized and create lessons that appeal to students individually. I also enjoy helping students become more organized in their studies by assisting them with homework, study planning, and goal setting.
