I am a researcher, curator, and educator with a wide range of teaching and tutoring experience. I have tutored students grades k-12 in art, grammar, history, reading, literature, composition, and ACT prep. I have also taught art history, German language, and film studies courses at the collegiate level. I enjoy working with any age group -- from elementary children to advanced college students. As a tutor, I strive to adapt my teaching strategies to students' individual learning styles and needs.

As for my educational credentials, I hold an MA in Visual Studies (with a minor focus in German Language and Literature) from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a BA in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from Auburn University. My research specifically addresses global modern and contemporary art and politics, with an especial emphasis on East and West Germany in the 1970s. However, I have also worked closely with artworks produced long-before the 20th-century. I have co-curated exhibitions on Renaissance print-making, Impressionist painting, and 19th-century American drawing. Additionally, I have presented and published research on medieval manuscripts, Afrofuturist design, and German photography.
