I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in history. I completed my graduate studies at Villanova University, receiving a Master of Arts in European History, with particular focus on Eastern Europe. I have tutored native Russian speakers in speaking English as a second language. I believe that it essential that students understand not only separate facts and dates, but are able to connect individual facts together into a broader picture. Being able to critically analyze a subject not only helps with that subject but throughout life both inside and outside of academia. In my spare time, I enjoy participating in discussion forums and playing games, especially strategy games and RPGs.
