I am an 18 year education veteran, having taught middle school language arts and then gaining administrator experience pre-K to 12. My mission is to empower young people to gain the skills that they need to have self-confidence and reach their dreams. I have loved helping students realize that they are just as capable as others in growing academically.

As a middle school teacher, I worked on a team to increase reading scores for our district - and we were highly successful, raising district scores from the 50% level well into the 90% level within a few years. As a building principal in a new district, success was repeated with our teaching team and our school earned the Ohio Momentum Award for increasing achievement across multiple student categories.
