I received my Bachelor's degree in Economics from Dartmouth College, and my Master's in Economics from the City University of New York. I am currently conducting academic research in the field of international trade policy. I have tutored elementary level students in early math concepts, adults returning to education to earn their high school equivalency, and undergraduate & graduate economics students. While economics is my professional passion, helping young students understand how math helps everyday is always fun! I try to ask a lot of questions during sessions to learn why previous teaching methods may not have been successful for students, then apply relatable examples to help comprehension. Outside of the classroom, I love to read science fiction. I played football in college and still enjoy watching. Other hobbies are skiing, hiking, cooking, and hanging out with my wife and cat.
