Hello! My name is Lulu, and I'm a 2019 graduate of Rhodes College with a B.S. in Chemistry on the Drug Discovery track. I have a very strong passion for science, and hope to someday get my PhD in Biochemistry or Medicinal Chemistry. My passion for math and science has carried with me for a very long time. In high school, I took all Pre-AP and AP classes in all subjects during my four years. My high school experience with science is Pre-AP Biology, Pre-AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP Chemistry. My high school experience in math includes Pre-AP Algebra 2, Pre-AP Pre Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC. I knew going into college I wanted to major in STEM, so my scientific coursework includes Foundations Chemistry, Biology 1 and 2, Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Physics 1 and 2, Physical Chemistry 1 and 2, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Medicinal and Computational Chemistry, and a senior thesis. I was unfortunately one class short of a math minor, however my college math experience includes Calculus 3, Math with Biological Applications, and Differential Equations. Outside of my coursework, I was on the volleyball team at Rhodes, I frequently volunteered with children, and I was a TA for Analytical Chemistry. I also spent a fair amount of time as a freelance tutor for students and friends that were in classes I had already taken, and I really enjoyed it! I love science, I love math, and I especially love helping others love it as much as I do.
