About Me

My name is Priscilla. I am currently a 3rd year student in medical school. I graduated from nursing school with my BSN in 2015 and passed my NCLEX two months after. I started work at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital two month later. In 2017 I started Medical school. During my first two years in medical I served in the Honors program as a tutor, teacher's assistant and a lead. I have vast experience not only in nursing, but in medicine. I decided on medicine to get a deeper understand of why we do what we do as nurses. So I am excited to share my knowledge of why things occur to give a deeper understand of concepts and how our body works as a whole. I also decided to tutor math as well because I've always had a passion for math and sciences. In fact I was able to take so many math courses in high school that I was except from taking additional math courses in college. I love motivating people to work hard and reach their potential. Sometimes that requires more work input than others but that it okay! Everyone's journey is different. If you fall, it's up to you to decide to get back up, shake it off, look for what works then push in that direction. Never give up. I look forward to meeting and guiding future students and professionals to meet their goals. There is nothing more rewarding than that.
