Hello! My name is Betty and the most important thing you should know about me is that I love the process and experience of learning. I have always actually enjoyed school. I delight in reading assignments and I am usually interested in class. This makes me a good tutor because I can make the often frustrating process of understanding new things pretty fun! I promise you that we will not be daunted by difficult subject matter and we will never let tests define our intelligence. My tutoring strategy will be to focus on your natural strengths and use those to attack the things that may be giving you some trouble.
Some quick fun facts about me... my favorite book is The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. I love to watch basketball, my favorite show is Jane the Virgin, and I have a powerful sweet-tooth.
