Some things about me: I am a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania. I am in the Vagelos Program of Molecular Life Sciences and currently aiming to earn a Bachelors of Arts in Biochemistry and Biology as well as a Masters of Science in Chemistry.

Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy playing the piano, participating in Taekwondo and ping pong, and playing League of Legends. I really like eating all kinds of different foods, travelling, walking, hiking, just exploring.

I can tutor in the following:
Math (Algebra I/II, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, AB, BC Calculus/Calculus II, SAT/ACT, SAT Subject Math II)
Chemistry (my favorite subject! AP, SAT subject tests, can teach organic chemistry as well)
Physics (high school/college level)

Tutoring style: I like to tutor students in a way so it's student guided, rather than tutor guided. I believe students are already equipped with what they already know and learned from school; we just need to unpack it and understand it! As we go through problems, I'll simply be a guide, asking many questions, so it'll lead you to the answer. I don't like just giving you the answer or teaching you a pattern so you can simply get the answer (unless it's absolutely necessary); the element of discovery is missing. So, I'll guide you, and if you truly do get stuck, I'll help you! Either way, I like to facilitate a mutual communication with students, rather than me just talking and teaching.

Philosophy: I truly believe in the power of education; I think it's the single most important way to open oneself to opportunity. I want to provide that help for those who are willing to learn and want to experience the joys of learning and I feel so much satisfaction seeing tutees understand. There's so much to know about this world and I'd love to help!
