I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University where I earned my master's degree in special education. I also earned my bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University in Early Childhood Education. Since graduation, I have taught Special Education for 3 years in the resource and self-contained setting. I also enjoy volunteering for multiple tutoring groups at the local shelter and at my school. I also love teaching summer school to 4th and 5th graders. My favorite subjects are reading and math because I feel as if they are the key to all learning. I am a strong believer that every child deserves a fair chance at a quality education no matter what their ability level. Every student can and will be successful if they have the inspiration. In my spare time, I love to read, exercise, play with my dog, and watch ALL sports!
