I am proud to be teaching for Varsity Tutors. Teaching is a great interest of mine, largely because I have witnessed firsthand the effect that a teacher can have on someone's life. As a tutor, I create a stimulating discussion in order to help my students understand and retain the course material. I also want to teach students general strategies for learning in academic environments. I graduated from Tappan Zee High School in 2014 and from Clark University, magna cum laude, in 2018, with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in history. In May 2020, I graduated from NYU Silver School of Social Work with my Master of Social Work. Throughout my academic career, I have tutored numerous students in order to help them prepare for exams or better comprehend topics with which they experienced difficulties. My favorite subjects to teach are Psychology, History, and Spanish, but I would be willing to assist students with numerous subjects.
