It gives me a great pleasure to work as a tutor with the varsity tutoring team. This will be an excellent opportunity for me to advance my ability to the contemporary knowledge of the world as well as to actively participate and share my knowledge and skills in the varsity tutoring platform. I was a top student in my graduate studies at Marshall University Huntington, West Virginia where I earned both my Masters of Science in Adult and Technical Education (ATE) and MSc in Environmental Science with major emphasis in Geographic Information Science (GIS), with 4.00 and 3.56 GPA respectively. Concerning my undergraduate studies, I have two B.A degrees one in Geography and Environmental study and the other B.A degree in Foreign Language and Literature minor political science and International Relation from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
I have more than five years of relevant experience in the field of Education as Instructor and Tutor. I tutored Math 100, 200, 300 levels and General Chemistry at Marshall University Tutoring Service. Currently I am working at Carlos Rosario International PCS GED program. I am assisting students algebra geometry, probability and central tendency as well as the social study and science part. Generally I am very passionate about numbers, periodic table and science particularly mathematics. My life and educational philosophy is through Education everything is possible and achievable but not simple to make it. It needs dedication and commitment. So be committed to your education then you will see the fruit. I follow lifelong learning and education principle. I also follow I am not the answer key tutoring and teaching method.
I always take part in extracurricular activity in schools and in my surrounding. I like traveling, soccer and appreciate nature and other culture. I am so proactive and open mind. Always ready to try new things.
