I have a passion for education and a diverse background that has helped me develop a knack for making things easier to understand! My experience spans a wide range of topics and ages from kindergarten to adults. I have a bachelor???s degree as well as a master???s degree in education. I taught middle school language arts in the traditional classroom for 7 years before transitioning into corporate training where I worked with a variety of business professionals. I taught seminars on topics such as business writing, public speaking, problem-solving, and communication for 8 years before another area of education caught my eye ??? English as a second language. After getting TESOL/TEFL certified, I taught English for 2 ??? years in South Korea. Now that I am back in the United States, I continue to teach English as a second language to students who are local and overseas.

As you can see, education is a huge part of my life. I am energized by the ???a-ha??? moments of my students. I believe, with the right teacher, everyone???s education goals can be accomplished.
