I have been helping fellow students succeed ever since I started middle school. Since then, I've realized that I always assist other students for a few reasons. I simply love tutoring. Being able to assist students who are struggling is an extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience. It's amazing when I see people have that "lightbulb" moment and they now understand a difficult concept or they've learned something new. Tutoring just comes naturally to me, and because of that, I've had plenty of time to hone that skill.
Varsity Tutors also recommended to upload info about who I am, so I suppose I'll do just that. I strive to be a friendly person who people naturally feel comfortable and enjoy interacting with. I'm a hard worker, but I'm also a calm and casual person who tends to become friends with anybody and everybody. I generally just enjoy interacting with people; everyone can give you a unique, amazing perspective and I love that. I guess the next standard "personal info" is hobbies, so I'll share my favorite. I love: piano, singing, playing music with friends, and anything music in general. I also love the outdoors, jogging, camping, and, much to my mother's dismay, climbing trees. I'm also always interested in learning; especially in STEM subjects.
The subjects I usually tutor in are science and math, as those are the subjects I am best at and enjoy the most. Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 (AP Calc AB and AP Calc BC are essentially the same for high school students) are my most common subjects that I tutor others for.
