I am a sophomore at Elon University pursuing degrees in psychology and human service studies. I have been teaching swim lessons to children for the last seven years and I am truly passionate about helping people become confident in the skills that they possess and teaching them new skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. I am primarily an English tutor, as I am passionate about literature, grammar, and writing. In addition to those things, I also tutor in English test prep, such as SAT and ACT. I use a variety of teaching methods to keep students engaged and interested, while helping them learn the skills that we are working on. I focus on building the confidence of students by setting them up to succeed and by making that success obvious to them as we move forward.
