It was in high school that I discovered my love for science, and that love has never subsided. Throughout my time in graduate school, where I taught lab courses to undergraduates, and my time in professional laboratories, where it was my job to explain science to non-scientists, I have always felt a great sense of accomplishment when I was able to spread understanding of complex scientific concepts. This is what I bring to tutoring, understanding of a subject and the wish to help others reach their own level of understanding. During my career, I have also learned one other very important lesson that I bring to tutoring everyone is different; they learn differently and they think differently. This made me an effective trainer, and it will allow me to cater my teaching style to each individual student. I look forward to the opportunity to share my knowledge with others.
