I first began tutoring and teaching for my high school's math national honor society and speech and debate team. I found the results of helping younger children really rewarding, especially because they not only understood how to solve problems but began to enjoy the learning process. Through these experiences, I have learned some of the best ways to adapt to different kinds of students and hone in on different strategies for different levels.
I've been very involved with the debate team, competing in Lincoln Douglas debate for four years. In my free time, I love to draw, listen to music, and play the clarinet.
