I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida (Go Gators!), where I studied Philosophy and Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. I tutored University of Florida students for three years in psychology, philosophy, math, and statistics. I have tutored student-athletes at the University of Florida's Athletic Association for two years. I have also tutored elementary school students in the Gainesville area on how to read.
I am a certified tutor under Purdue University's Tutoring Essentials course. I also received my IB diploma in 2013. My higher levels were psychology, english, and chemistry. My standard levels were history, math (studies), and french.
I am extremely passionate about tutoring! I am constantly amazed at level of knowledge and improvement my students achieve. I have an interest in becoming a professor after I attend graduate school in order to improve the quality of life for others by aiding their intellectual pursuits. I think tutoring is an essential part of my own journey towards this goal! I am most passionate about psychology and philosophy courses. However, I have experience tutoring in a wider range of subjects.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading novels, the news, and academic literature. I also enjoy cycling and watching great TV.
