About Me

I am currently enrolled in Brooklyn College's Coordinated BA/MD program with the SUNY Downstate School of Medicine considering a double major in Chemistry and Psychology and double minors in Biochemistry and History. I have been tutoring for approximately 3 years now and truly enjoy it. I have past experiences tutoring students in levels of math up to college calculus (including preparation for advanced placement and regents examinations). Additionally, I have tutored World and United States History (including preparation for advanced placement and regents examinations) as well as preparation for the SAT and ACT.I find tutoring to be a very rewarding experience not just for myself but for my students- especially when I see the "light bulb" go off in someone's head and a concept that has been giving difficulties is finally understood! My teaching approach is very flexible and catered to the individual that I am working with because I believe that everyone has their own preferences and different learning styles. I try to present information in an engaging and simple way and often in more than one way for a better understanding.
