Currently a middle school English language arts teacher. Previously attended the University of Georgia and received degrees in English literature with a focus in novel studies and International Affairs with a concentration in human rights.

Has taught in a traditional public school classroom, taught ESL to resettled refugees, and did volunteer tutoring for underserved children.

Believes that there are no "smart" people, only those who have a willingness to learn and those who do not.
