Hello! I received my Bachelors degree in English with a minor in writing from Buffalo State College. I spent three out of my four years at Buff State employed at the campus Writing Help Center where I tutored students of all ages in essay writing, literary analysis, reading comprehension, ESL, grammar, and multiple styles of citation. I love working with language and I love working with people, regardless of age, and teaching them to become comfortable with all aspects of it. Whether you're an adult learner or a parent looking for a good fit for their child, I'd love to talk with you and discuss exactly how I can help you.

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

Talking, watching and listening are the ways that I've found the most success in evaluating the needs of my students. It's very important to me that I understand fully what it is that they want to be learning in our time together. I make sure I address those desires, and in addition to that I simply pay attention to what it is they struggle with.
